🦈 Shark Attack Fantasy League

Overview

Shark Attack Fantasy League is a fantasy shark attack league where participants draft coastal regions and score points based on real shark activity.

• Leagues support 4-12 players. Create or join a league with your friends to start playing.
• The Season runs from August 1 through October 31.
• Scores are updated daily using automated scrapers pulling data from NOAA and verified beach reports.
• Push notifications keep you updated instantly on new scoring events.

The Draft

• Players draft coastal regions around the globe, including the Atlantic, Gulf, Pacific, Hawaii, and Australia.
• Draft order is randomized once the league commissioner starts the draft.
• We use a snake draft format: Round 1 goes 1 → 2 → 3, and Round 2 reverses back 3 → 2 → 1.
• Once a region is picked, it's locked.

Scoring

Points are earned whenever a shark event is confirmed in one of your drafted regions:

• Points are awarded to whichever player drafted that region.
• Scores are driven by actual reports from NOAA and local beach monitoring.

Waiver Wire

• Weekly waiver wire allows you to pick up unclaimed regions or drop underperforming ones.
• Keep an eye on global shark activity to strategize your waiver picks!
